About Daniel Nolan

Dan Nolan is the Director of Player Care for the Philadelphia Union, Philly\'s Major League Soccer team. As the Union\'s Player Care Manager, Dan assists players and technical staff with their transition into Philadelphia and the team as well as supporting players, technical staff, and their families with off-the-field tasks so they can focus on their sport. Dan first joined the Union in 2009, prior to the inaugural season, as an intern with the technical staff and quickly found his strength in connecting with players and created the Player Liaison Manager role for the club in 2018. Dan’s unique philosophy that he brings to his position is to empathize with the uncommon situation they are put in, having to create a life and home in a new city.Dan graduated from Penn State Abington in 2011 with a bachelor\'s degree in corporate communications and an associate\'s degree in business administration. Dan is a Philadelphia native and currently lives in Conshohocken with his wife, son, and daughter. Having lived in Philadelphia his entire life, he is naturally a huge Philly-sports fan and considers the Union’s inaugural home opener in 2010 as a career highlight.
