About Daniel McKimm
My interests in electronics began during my enlistment in U.S. Naval Intelligence. After a ten year career as a police officer, which included a key role in the creation and administration of the Jackson Twp. Police Department, an opportunity arose to start an electronic security systems business. That led to the birth of ProTech Security, Inc. As co-founders of ProTech Security, both my brother and I had the unique distinction of including in our list of credentials being law enforcement professionals as well as graduates of the F.B.I. National Academy. With the assistance of my brothers, ProTech Security evolved into systems integration. Starting as a home and small commercial company providing intrusion detection systems, we now are a full service design and installation company. Our systems run the entire electronic security spectrum and feature full integraton of \"IP\" based security, access control, fire, HVAC and surveillance systems. ProTech Security works with schools, industry, government and businesses throughout N.E Ohio in design/build security and surveillance solutions. Our work has been recognized in security industry professional trade publications as feature articles and white papers. ProTech Security also offers Situational Awareness Security Control (SASC), as detailed at our SASC connects 911 centers and police/fire dispatch centers directly to critical incidents that may occur anywhere. Our cloud based technology sends real-time video and two-way audio to your 911 or police/fire dispatch center. Emergency dispatchers are then able to recognize and identify the WHO, WHAT, WHERE and WHEN of any critical incident. Traditional security and surveillance systems are no match.
