I am a Chartered Manager (CMgr, MCMI) and engineering business leader with extensive and proven experience managing technical teams, programmes, and business development initiatives. Possessing an excellent track record in designing and developing new and emerging technologies for commercial, industrial and defence products across a broad range of highly integrated industries, including compound semiconductor packaging, battery energy storage, datacentre infrastructure, high-performance computing, IoT enablement, and nuclear energy.My professional experience spans the full engineering lifecycle, from research and development to global high-volume manufacture. I have successfully led high-performing, multidisciplinary teams in electronics hardware, software, mechanical and product design, and I have delivered a multitude of strategic leadership programmes, advancing technology enablement initiatives, product development roadmaps, research and development grant-funded projects, and nurtured industrial and academic KTP partnerships.Currently positioned as Director of Engineering at Phlux Technology, focusing on the development and commercialisation of new generation Avalanche Photo Diodes (APD’s) and integrated photonic detector modules.
