ABOUT DANIEL MACLEAN
As an Investment Associate, Daniel supports the implementation of the Schooner Advisory Group’s investment processes, including individual security analysis and portfolio construction for clients. Daniel is passionate about working with clients to develop comprehensive financial plans that set forth tailored strategies for wealth preservation and growth, goal funding, tax optimization, risk management and estate planning. Daniel graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons.) degree from St. Francis Xavier University in 2020 and earned a Master of Management in Finance (MMF) degree from McGill University in 2022. Daniel began his career at ScotiaMcLeod upon having completed the esteemed Wealth Management Associate Program, which provides invaluable exposure to all business lines within Scotia Wealth Management. Passionate about capital markets and fundamental analysis, Daniel is a CFA charterholder. Outside of his penchant for wealth management, Daniel enjoys coaching hockey, playing golf and tennis, travelling, hiking, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
