ABOUT DANIEL MACKENZIE
I am a Lawyer practicing at Stewart McKelvey in Halifax, Nova Scotia. In my time with Stewart McKelvey, I have had the opportunity to work with wonderful clients on a diverse number of legal issues. The subject-matter of my files have included administrative law, construction law, contract law, corporate law, criminal law, municipal law, personal injury, privacy law and securities litigation. In law school, I was an intern for the Justices of the Court of Queen’s Bench in Fredericton, a member of the International Law Society, and a member of the 2012 Gale Cup Moot team. I also had the opportunity to intern at the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia. During my internship, I worked on a number of civil, constitutional, family, and criminal cases. I have volunteered at the Ministry of Justice in Rwanda as a legal research advisor, as well as with the A.B.A. Celtics basketball organization in Dartmouth. In addition to my day job, I enjoy playing various musical instruments, watching old films, and supporting the Toronto Raptors.
