I work as an advisor on Environmental Policy, specializing in addressing global challenges such as Climate Change, Biodiversity, and Chemicals. My role involves analyzing the interconnections and assessing the impact of these issues on public health. I provide guidance to Fiocruz, both at the national and international levels, to shape their political stance and policies. I am also responsible for fostering innovative sustainable technologies to accelerate the achievement of sustainable development goals (SDGs) across various areas. This includes biodiversity, climate change, agriculture, bioeconomy, health, circular economy, and others. As part of my work, I support Science, Technology, and Innovation collaboration, research, and technology transfer across nations through the Global Sustainable Technology and Innovation Community (G-STIC).I was responsible for the scientific program of the G-STIC-Rio and took an important role in the general organization. G-STIC Rio had over 50 sessions on opics related to the 2030 Agenda, about 250 speakers and around online participants from more than 140 countries. My responsibilities also included leading the scientific program and writing concept papers, reports, and political communiqué regarding the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. I prepare grant proposals for private and public institutions to support our work.
