About Danielle Parsons
Trained as a botanist and horticulturalist, Danielle is determined to craft a livelihood centered around native plant seed stewardship and restoration. Guided by her passion for birding and nature photography, she aims to weave together people and place through conservation storytelling. She received her B.S. in Environmental Studies from San Diego State University in 2018. Since then, she\'s collaborated with many land management agencies, including the USFS, BLM, and NPS. Projects range from inventories of karst caves, Abandoned Mine Lands (AML) Reclamation surveys, plant propagation, nursery management, overnight wilderness patrols, endangered species surveys, and habitat restoration projects within San Diego County.In 2022, she became certified in the California Rapid Assessment Method (CRAM) and the Society for Ecological Restoration’s Certified Ecological Restoration Practitioner (CERPIT) program.In 2025 she earned a Masters in Ecology at San Diego State studying fire ecology and plant-soil interactions with an emphasis on California native plants.
