About Danielle Murray Bull

Who I Am:I am an engineer and an MBA by degree, and a problem-solver at heart. I believe in analysis with purpose. Not only is it important to understand data and how to both manipulate and synthesize it, but it is also critical to be able to understand the story that information is telling. Identifying trends, finding the story, and ultimately turning that story into the best decisions for an organization is the challenge that excites me most in the workplace. My Experiences:As an engineer, I love to learn and pride myself on my learning agility. Early in my career, I was fortunate enough to participate in rotational programs, which have allowed me to gain exposure across a variety of functions. From systems engineering in a food production facility to developing value propositions for beauty packaging to demand planning beverage cartons, I have distilled core elements from my roles. This has allowed me to build an experiential lexicon that I draw from as I work cross-functionally.I now work in a company that is built on connecting people to products, through consumer and corrugated packaging. I am part of that connection, helping to commercialize our key innovations and bring them into the marketplace. How I Think:I find joy in understanding how things work, but also have a passion for the consumer and customer experience. As humans in enterprise, I believe we all have a role to play in understanding how to connect with our target customers—whether internal or external. Where I’m Heading:My experiences are driving me towards leadership – whether that be of a team, of a major project, or of a business unit. The work I am doing now is preparing me for this eventuality, as I gain crucial exposure to strategic decision making. I look forward to the challenge of using the inputs around me to grow my enterprise and its products towards the needs of everyday consumers, like myself.
