ABOUT DANIELLE MANGABAT
I am currently a Fulbright Research Fellow specializing in decolonial studies, reproductive justice, and global health equity, currently hosted by the University of the Philippines - Diliman Anthropology department. As a feminist anthropologist, I am dedicated to employing culturally responsive, participatory, and equitable research methodologies, amplifying marginalized perspectives across diverse communities. In the non-profit sector and academia, I have experience conducting interdisciplinary research, shaping policy, and crafting ethical communications materials spanning issues such as reproductive justice, environmental and climate justice, economic justice, education equity, labor rights, and justice reform.Rooted in my identity as a Filipina American activist and community organizer, I am deeply invested in fostering empowerment and advocacy among Filipino youth, locally and in the diaspora. I strive to bridge the gap between research and action, driving meaningful change through education and grassroots mobilization.Committed to implementing interdisciplinary solutions through an intersectional lens, I am passionate about movement-building and advancing global health equity.
