Working as part of the senior leadership team, I head up the Legal and Governance team at England Golf - the national governing body for golf in England. My areas of responsibility include leading and oversight on all matters pertaining to- all legal matters - data protection - anti-doping- safeguarding and welfare- disciplinary appeals to England Golf- all governance matters, including compliance with the Sport England Code for Governance I am also the Anti-Doping Lead for England Golf.In addition, I am the Company Secretary for England Golf where I support the Board in the performance of its functions and ensure all board compliance requirements are met.

ABOUT DANIELLE LISTER
As Legal and Governance Director for England Golf - the national governing body for golf in England - my role is to head up the Legal and Governance team, ensuring legal risks of the organisation are managed and mitigated. I ensure the organisation meets and maintains its compliance requirements including the Sport England Code for Sports Governance and the UKAD Anti-Doping Framework, and that the highest standards of governance are maintained within England Golf. In addition, the Legal and Governance team supports affiliated Golf Clubs to meet their governance requirements, coordinates disciplinary referrals to England Golf’s disciplinary panel, and ensures the highest levels of safeguarding and welfare are achieved and promoted throughout the sport of Golf. I am also Company Secretary for the organisation, where I work closely with the England Golf Board, and support the Board to achieve its aims and to ensure compliance in with applicable governance requirements.
