Thirteen years of project managing for Burning Man\'s Art and Civic Engagements team. Liaison with artists to manage communications and meetings through direct conversations and emails. Document and maintain all data for projects. Handling logistics, schedules, and communications for the team and up to 19 large-scale art projects six months before and at the event. Worked in a complex multi-departmental environment to provide information and scheduling to safety departments. Problem solved as needed for artists with various departments. Coordinated teams, created manuals, developed and implemented tools and resources, trained hundreds of volunteers on safety, and assessed challenges. Facilitate meetings between various stakeholders to ensure all goals are met. Ongoing Expectations Collaborates with Art Project Managers in overseeing relations and tracking of all Burning Man services provided for fire artists from point of contract/acceptance through clean-up/completion. Serves as subject matter expert to Art Project Managers for BRC projects incorporating fire, with particular expertise in Open Fire. Manages FAST team protocol for working with other departments, teams, and artists. Acts as a FAST ambassador to Burning Man staff helping to educate them about fire art projects and related safety measures. Leads FAST Mentorship Program to recruit, train, and mentor multiple regional fire safety leads on the playa.
