As the Founder and CEO of the Center for Advancing Leadership and Human Potential, Danielle Harlan, Ph.D, is on a mission to help organizations be great – and also good. Through a combination of leadership and management consulting, facilitation, and coaching services, she empowers individuals, teams, and organizations to develop the systems and competencies that they need to succeed, thrive, and generate a lasting positive impact. An experienced executive, group facilitator, and social scientist, Danielle delivers highly customized, strategically-aligned, and evidence-based programs and deliverables – and facilitates strategic planning, learning and development, and employee experience initiatives for public, private, nonprofit, and government organizations around the world. As the Co-Founder of OurCoach, Danielle is also experienced at designing and analyzing organizational effectiveness and employee experience (EX) assessments and is adept at turning data-driven insights into meaningful and measurable results.As a former special education teacher, Danielle’s work is rooted in equity, emotional intelligence, and the science of human motivation – with strong emphases on connection, collaboration, and effective communication. Prior to launching the Center, she was the Chief of Operations for the Carnegie Foundation, where she worked to harness the power of networks and quality improvement strategies to solve important educational problems. She is a member of the International Leadership Association and is certified in the Organization Development Network’s Global OD Competency Framework.
