ABOUT DANIELLE GEORGE

Danielle George is a partner at Phillips & Paolicelli, LLP, where her practice is concentrated on complex tort and product liability litigation, medical malpractice, and birth defects. Danielle has served as lead trial counsel in numerous matters involving obstetrical birth injuries, failure to diagnose various types of cancers, traumatic brain injury, stroke, defective medical devices and wrongful death. Prior to concentrating on complex tort and medical issues, Danielle\'s early career focused on plaintiffs’ general tort litigation, where she also engaged in appellate practice on issues including labor law, maritime law, insurance and arbitration. Danielle is licensed to practice law in the States of New York and New Jersey. She is also licensed to appear before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York and the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and the Federal District Court of New Jersey. Danielle graduated from New York University in 1989, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School in 1992. She served as judicial intern for the Hon. Louis Sangiorgio in Supreme Court of the State of New York and as intern for the Office of the Corporation Counsel of the City of New York. Danielle is Associate Adjunct Professor at New York University’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies, where she teaches Advanced Legal Research, Writing and Litigation in the paralegal program.
