ABOUT DANIEL LEEMPUTTE

Last name pronounced “LEM-puh-tee.”Through my work in ops leadership and strategy at fintech startups, I learned to love sitting at the center of a product and service, collaborating across all business disciplines. At Better.com, I served as an Operations Director within the mortgage business and as Director of the firm\'s affiliate title insurance business, where I honed my skills in operations management, process improvement through technology, strategic analysis, team leadership, and cross-functional project management.I\'ve lived and worked on both the west and east coasts, managing teams of various sizes, including undergrad college students, employees throughout the states, and remote workers in India. I got hooked on the idea of business leadership while managing a student-run coffee shop at Georgetown University. Since then, I\'ve worked within operations and strategy at digital-first financial services firms. Executives have stationed me within nascent teams, knowing that I can face formidable challenges independently and trusting me to learn as I lead.After earning my MBA at the Kellogg School of Management, I joined Simply Business, an insurtech company dedicated to empowering small businesses.
