As an Award-Winning Board Leader and Vice President, Supplier Diversity, Danielle Bly delivers strategic leadership for Fortune 500 leader WEC Energy Group and numerous non-profit boards. Danielle is a Subject Matter Expert in supplier and workforce diversity with WEC Energy winning Milwaukee Business Journal’s Diversity in Business Award during her leadership as the Executive Sponsor of the African American Business Resource Group. She consistently exceeds business goals, driving a record-setting $332M in supplier diversity spend in 2024. Danielle delivered WEC Energy’s first Supplier Diversity Economic Impact Report highlighting her team’s wins and commitment to the community. In addition to her leadership with WEC Energy, Danielle is a pivotal leader in the Milwaukee area, earning awards including Wisconsin’s 48 Most Influential Black Leaders.In her current role as Vice President, Supplier Diversity Initiatives, Danielle leads supplier diversity for the $9.6B WEC Energy Group across 6 distinct utilities. She has built strategic alliances with 15+ business advocacy groups including Illinois Utilities Business Diversity Council and African American Chamber of Commerce. Her commitment to the community has been clear as her organization surpassed its $265M spend target in 2024.Danielle is a highly-sought board leader who has held board roles at 10+ non-profit organizations with balance sheet assets up to $20M. She is a current Board Member with the Milwaukee Urban League, Black Arts MKE, and Pius XI Catholic High School. Danielle is also a current member and previous at-large Board Member for Professional Dimensions and has served as Board President of Danceworks, Inc. She is a proud member of the national women’s leadership Chief Network.In her leadership work with TEMPO Milwaukee, Danielle skillfully co-chaired the 2022 TEMPO Leadership Event with 1500+ participants and Simone Biles as featured speaker. Through her additional leadership roles, Danielle recently helped to raise $600K+ for Milwaukee Repertory Theater as the Co-Chair for Curtain Ball Auction Committee.In recognition of her accomplishments, Danielle was named one of Wisconsin’s 48 Most Influential Black Leaders in 2021. In addition to being Milwaukee Business Journal Women of Influence, Community Supporter Recipient, she has earned the Trailblazer in Women’s Leadership Award, The PowHer Network Bridge Build-Her Award and most recently the TEMPO Mentor Award in 2025.

   I currently direct the company\'s Supplier Diversity program across all six utilities within WEC Energy Group. This work is done by fostering relationships with suppliers, contractors, area business and advocacy organizations. I worked with internal business leaders to achieve record spend of $332 million dollars in 2024 with diverse businesses and ensure regulatory compliance for each respective utility. In addition to this, enhancing and proving the value of our Supplier Diversity program to the economies we serve through growing and working with diverse businesses.
