I am a Certified Ecological Restoration Practitioner and former Adjunct Professor with 10+ years of experience developing, managing, and advising on a diverse portfolio of restoration projects throughout New York City. I have worked on projects including bioswales, invasive plant species management, riverbank stabilization, fish passage maintenance and monitoring for river herring and American eel, and oyster reef habitat restoration.In my current role as Assistant Director of Restoration Policy for the Environmental Policy Innovation Center, I apply my professional experience and knowledge as an ecological restoration practitioner to advance restoration efforts by improving permitting processes across all levels of government.If anyone is working on permitting reform or has a restoration project story to share, please reach out.
