About Danielle Birkett

I am a senior in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville working towards a business degree in Marketing with a collateral in International Business. I have always been able to find the best solution to a problem and being a strategic thinker is one of my strengths. In my previous position as an operations intern, I was able to gain valuable insight into operating and managing a business. I also got to see firsthand the process of making sales, and this expanded my knowledge of the retail and marketing fields. I continue to expand my strengths as a student by improving communication and problem solving which can be seen through my academic work as I pursue my degree. As I further my career in business I hope to utilize my strengths to help me get a job in the marketing and sales field. With two of my main strengths being competition and creativity, I look forward to pursuing a career where I can gain experience as a leader and connect with customers. I’m interested in sales because it is a dynamic field where I could apply my strengths to succeed and because it\'s a versatile field that is always changing. As I gain more professional experience, I hope to one day pursue a career in tech sales and marketing. The prospect of product launch planning is very exciting to me, and I aspire to become a leader in the field and contribute to the advancement of medicine.
