About Danielle Allen
What do you want to be when you grow up? I knew back then that I wanted to dabble with computers. Little did I know that I would have the pleasure of digging into many different aspects of the IT world. Ever since I experienced doing Information Technology training in the military, I knew that this was the career path for me to take. After getting an associate degree in IT Networking and an associate degree in Network Security, I started out with an entry level job such as Help desk then each job after that has been an advancement into a different dimension in the IT World such as, desktop support, system admin, network technician, IT infrastructure engineer, vCIO (virtual Chief Information Officer). I am very thankful because each one of these jobs has taught me a great deal that I was able to take to the next position. I\'ve been doing IT for more than 13 years now and everyone knows that as the world grows Information Technology grows. Good thing, I was able to have experience also managing cloud data storages, virtualizations, and Azure Directory services. I am very passionate about those IT roles I\'ve held and I feel proud knowing what I\'ve learned in those roles that I will take to my next destination. Along the way, I found love in Information Security before it was it\'s own category. It used to just be a part of the roles I\'ve held and now that it is it\'s own entity I would love to dig deeper into it. Right now I am an Information Security Analyst II so I mostly deal with IAM of Wells Fargo Applications for it\'s employees. While I like doing that, I am looking for something more related to Information Security or Cyber Security. I\'ve worked with Compliance IT standards, Multi Factor authentication, digital certificates, Cisco Umbrella, Webroot, Fortify Security and many others and found that I have a passion for helping to protect consumers\' information. I don\'t have to be paid for doing this kind of stuff, I also do it for my friends and myself at no cost all the time, I love learning IT, Teaching IT, and being a watchman over information, networks, and companies data. With all skills and knowledge combines, I\'ve helped over 100 companies build and maintain their networks and protect their data. Skills/Interest: Regulatory compliance frameworks, VMware, Active Directory Administration, RSA Authentication Manager 8, DUO authentication, Windows Server (20••••19), SQL Server (20••••19), Cisco and Brocade Switches, Ubiquity Access points, Cisco Firepower, Fortigate, Netgate PFsense, Sonicwall, Windows Tegile, Cloud Storage (C247)
