Danielle Williams is a highly accomplished and creative fashion designer with close to 15 years of experience in the fashion industry, specializing in plus size fashion for 11 of those years. With a deep understanding of the design process and a keen eye for balancing creativity with business acumen, Danielle has established herself as an expert in her field.In 2022, Danielle launched Xtnd Consulting Co, a consulting collective that brings together a team of industry experts in designing, fitting, merchandising, and promoting plus and extended size ranges. Through Xtnd Co, Danielle and her team are dedicated to supporting the fashion industry in its journey towards greater size inclusivity.Previously, Danielle served as the Design Director at 11 Honoré, a prestigious high-end retailer catering to women sizes 12 and above. During her time at 11 Honoré, Danielle played a pivotal role in shaping the brand\'s aesthetic and product offerings.Prior to her work at 11 Honoré, Danielle held the position of Design Manager at Torrid, a renowned plus size retailer. In this role, she successfully oversaw the design team and implemented fundamental supply chain processes. Additionally, Danielle developed effective product strategies that significantly contributed to the growth of the business. Her work at Torrid included designing for various categories and capsules, such as the Torrid Insider Collection, Fox\'s Empire Collection, Wedding Collection, and Dresses selected for Torrid\'s S/S 2018 NYFW Collection. Throughout her career, Danielle has collaborated with domestic and international manufacturers, further expanding her design expertise.Danielle holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Fashion Design from Miami International University of Art & Design. In 2017, she furthered her education and received a Masters of Fine Arts Degree in Fashion from the esteemed Academy of Art University, where her thesis focused on Women\'s Contemporary Collections.Originally hailing from Silver Spring, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, DC, Danielle now resides in Los Angeles with her husband, Nosa. Beyond her passion for fashion, Danielle finds joy in traveling, dancing, and cherishing quality time with her loved ones.
