Whether I am putting the last touches on a new novel, crafting a human-interest story, or creating marketing materials, I know the power of stories to connect and motivate. Stories bridge gaps, communicate, heal, build, awaken, move, inspire, and entertain. Stories are my medium. As the online editor for the international magazine LDS Living and later as the content manager for CareerCert, I\'ve crafted and curated stories on topics ranging from the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and mass shootings to pop culture. I know how to tackle tough topics with sensitivity and how to approach readers in a variety of settings and styles. While I’ve been honored to help tell others’ stories, I’ve also loved supervising and mentoring a team of writers in the creation of over articles per year, growing our page views by over 10 million in one year. The past two years I’ve enjoyed expanding into multimedia by managing, designing, and editing podcasts, social media posts, videos, webinars, and virtual events. During that time, I helped successfully launch 3 podcasts and a webinar series that now reach listeners and viewers. I know how to juggle an ever-growing amount of job responsibilities; I like audacious, scary challenges; and I am fast and meticulous when it comes to the written word. While I respect traditions, I understand focusing on what you’ve always done can blind you from what you can become. Because of that, I ask prodding questions. I innovate. I am ambitious and always pushing to do more and be more. This prodding has helped me develop creative marketing strategies that better deliver needed content to the right person at the right time. Because, whether it’s a perfect product, a new novel, or a paradigm-expanding idea, I know how to deliver content that readers both need and enjoy.
