ABOUT DANIELLE THOMPSON

Over the last ten years, I’ve gained a broad range of experience across Project Management, PMO leadership, and analytical research. Currently, I manage the PMO Team supporting the Strategic Resource Options (SRO) and the Property Investment Delivery programme at Severn Trent Water, where I have developed and implemented strategic governance, risk, and assurance frameworks from the ground up.A significant part of my role involves working closely with regulators such as RAPID and legal counsel to ensure programme delivery aligns with complex regulatory requirements, including Development Consent Order (DCO) applications and the RAPID Gated structure. I also collaborate with multiple partner organisations, including Yorkshire Water and Affinity Water, helping to align PMO standards and reporting across different companies for our partnered SRO projects.I lead a growing PMO team focused on building capability and delivering consistent, high-quality support to multi-year infrastructure programmes. Leveraging tools like Power BI, SharePoint and Oracle Primavera, I help create transparent, efficient reporting and governance processes that support informed decision-making at senior levels.I thrive in environments that require strategic thinking, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to balance governance with delivery.
