Hi, I’m Danielle Rutherford, DO, a senior OB-GYN resident physician at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with a passion for helping women feel seen, supported, and empowered at every stage of life.My journey into women’s health began with a deep appreciation for the balance between science and humanity — the privilege of guiding patients through some of life’s most vulnerable and transformative moments. Over the past four years, I’ve built extensive experience in high-risk obstetrics, minimally invasive surgery, and comprehensive gynecologic care, always anchored by compassion and evidence-based medicine.Beyond the clinical setting, I’m drawn to medical education and mentorship. I’ve developed OB-GYN curricula, teaching materials, and structured learning guides for medical students, aiming to make complex topics approachable and relevant.
