This position requires creating tech packs in PLM & Excel. Sr TD acts as lead in garment devel- opment, coordinating fittings with bicoastal production teams and sending fit comments to the cooresponding overseas and domestic manufacturers. This position requires communicating pattern corrections, CAD development, updating WIP charts, proto development and shipment to testing facilities, trim approvals, hangtag and label approval, as well as overseeing product development through from inception to TOP stage-Develop & manage technical specifications for samples from inception to production- Lead initiatives in improving technical processes & efficiency to improve production speed while reducing production costs- Manage virtual fittings & fit reviews across multiple timezones- Review and confirm sample fit utilizing BrowzWear 3D Software to review pattern corrections- Communicate fit revisions, pattern corrections and sample status approvals to overseas factories- Manage sample status from pre-production to TOP- Grade garments to develop full size ranges for women’s, girls’, boys & mens swimwear, safety apparel, soft tops, wovens, intimates and outerwear- Develop size charts for e-commerce fit recommendations- Mentor factories through pattern modifications and fit comment reviews- Work cross functionally with design, sales, production & overseas factories to meet production timeline and delivery deadlines across multiple timezones- Maintain documentation of all relevant technical data for design/production costing reference - Adapt, lead, pivot, and excel in a fast-paced, high volume work environment- Identify solutions to recity quality concerns in order to improve garment functionality- Manage fitting schedule as well as sample tracking coordinating vendor approvals- Develop & manage production techpacks including construction details & BOM
