About Danielle N. Bartholet

I am currently studying at Emerson College, majoring in Writing, Literature, and Publishing with minors in History and Journalism. In all of my work across disciplines, I am passionate about sharing stories of unique individuals and events that spark my interest for their work in the arts and culture space. My work at publications such as The Berkeley Beacon and Houston Family Magazine has allowed me to write about events and interview some incredible individuals with unique stories to share with their communities. I have also won regional creative writing awards with Scholastic Art and Writing, and been published in multiple literary magazines and an anthology. When it comes to my fiction writing, I work mainly in the historical fiction genre, as it blends my loves of writing and history into character driven narratives backdropped by a period in time that interests me. I driven by my love of learning and writing to create works that both entertain and educate. I am looking to forge a career in the publishing world, working as a literary agent or editor as I work on my own writing. I am also looking to expand my knowledge of journalism and work within that field for a publication or magazine. I hope to blend my two distinct interests of publishing and journalism to provide a unique and well rounded lens to the fields and jobs I pursue.

   I am managing the outreach and marketing initiatives of Page Turner Magazine, a genre fiction literary magazine run by the students of Emerson College, graduate and undergraduate. I aim to standardize a brand for Page Turner that allows for recognizability in the Emerson College lit mag space.
