ABOUT DANIELLE MEDINA

As an enthusiastic and dedicated plant-based and fitness professional, I am very excited to apply my expertise to help create a paradigm shift in our healthcare system. I am always looking for opportunities to inspire people to be leaders in the movement and live a healthy and fulfilling life.My educational background includes a bachelor\'s degree in food science and nutrition from Brooklyn College and certifications in group exercise, personal training and yoga for both adults and children. I have also completed the Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate, T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and eCornell, the Rouxbe Forks Over Knives Culinary Certification, Food For Life Cooking Instructor Certification with the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, and am currently enrolled in the Rouxbe 25-hour Plant Plus course.Throughout my time teaching in private and corporate health club facilities for the past twenty years, I have focused my career goals on developing my professional skills by implementing informative nutrition workshops and conducting enjoyable fitness classes. My health-related articles have been featured in WQ magazine. I have also been interviewed on the Accuweather TV channel as a health and wellness commentator as well as on several online podcasts. I have an entrepreneurial mindset, which has helped me to create my own company Fit n Play Mama, a fitness and plant-based resource for adults and children.
