A former Legal Director and Head of Legal, I now provide flexible legal support to startups, scale-ups and SMEs. Over the last decade, I’ve advised VC-backed startups, owner-managed businesses and international organisations. I’ve built in-house legal and compliance functions from the ground up, led complex commercial negotiations with listed groups and public bodies, and supported businesses through growth, funding and change. My background includes large national law firms and senior in-house roles, where legal decisions were closely tied to commercial outcomes. As a former litigator, I also understand how quickly risk can become real if not managed early.
