ABOUT DANIELLE MCGRATH
I am a Trainee Solicitor at Forbes Solicitors, currently in my final seat in the Insolvency team. Prior to starting my training contract, I spent over two years as a Paralegal in the Commercial Property department at Forbes, gaining valuable hands-on experience of landlord and tenant transactions and acquisitions in the retail sector.I hold a First Class Honours degree in Law from Leeds Beckett University and a Distinction in the LLM in Professional Practice from The University of Law. I’m passionate about making law accessible and supporting the next generation of legal professionals, which I do through my mentoring roles with Manchester Metropolitan University and The University of Law.My background spans far beyond the legal field, including working as a self employed nail technician, support worker, in hospitality and retail. These roles developed my resilience, empathy and ability to connect with people from all walks of life. I bring that same grounded approach to my legal training today.
