ABOUT DANIELLE MCCORMACK

I am a Learning & Organisational Development Practitioner with a passion for helping people and teams learn, grow, and thrive. My career began in hospitality, where I worked my way up from apprentice chef to Hotel Operations Manager. That hands-on experience taught me the value of teamwork, adaptability, and delivering exceptional service - foundations that continue to shape how I approach learning, culture, and improvement today. Now working in the healthcare sector since 2018, I combine my background in operations, workforce development, and organisational improvement to create meaningful, data-driven change. I recently led a large-scale project to align mandatory training across an organisation of 10,800 staff, and have also collaborated with NHS England on the National Statutory and Mandatory Training programme - contributing as a key stakeholder in the assurance group and task and finish group to Redesign mandatory learning.I hold a CIPD Level 3 in People Practice, and I’m qualified as a Service Improvement Practitioner, including certification from AQUA (Advancing Quality Alliance). I’m also an accredited 360 Feedback Facilitator. My work is grounded in continuous improvement, using data analytics and workforce metrics to inform decision-making, evaluate impact, and shape strategy.Building strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders is one of my key strengths - I believe collaboration and engagement are at the heart of sustainable improvement. I always keep the end user in mind, whether that’s a guest in a hotel or a patient in a hospital, ensuring that every initiative ultimately improves the experience and outcomes for the people we serve.Tenacious, curious, and people-focused, I’m driven by a genuine desire to make work better - for individuals, teams, and organisations alike. I’m open to opportunities across industries where I can help create lasting impact through learning, organisational development, and continuous improvement.
