About Danielle Marzitelli

Danielle is a 2020 Honors graduate of the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, a concentration in Structural Engineering, and a minor in Construction Engineering and Management. She is E.I.T. certified as of May of 2021 and is working towards obtaining her PE license when the time comes. Currently based out of NYC, Danielle specializes in the analysis, design, and drafting of concrete and steel bridge structures and details. Through her professional experience thus far, she has become skilled in conducting all stages of repair, replacement, and design-build bridge design work, from bridge inspections and cost estimates to DOT project submissions. Her design and analysis experience includes culverts, pedestrian bridges, bike ramps, single simple span municipal bridges, muti-span interstate bridges, rail bridges varying from drawbridges to swing bridges, retaining walls, and more. She is skilled in using resources such as Bridge Design Manuals, LRFD Bridge Design Specifications, AISC Steel Design Manual, ACI Concrete Manual, and New York State, New York City, and Connecticut DOT standards. She is proficient in using AutoCAD, MicroStation, AASHTOWare BrR, CSiBridge, Bluebeam, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe.
