About Danielle Dani Jefferson

Danielle Jefferson is currently attending Howard University in the class of 2028, majoring in health science with a concentration in physical therapy. Throughout her academic journey, Danielle has always participated in organizations that are committed to community service, social justice, wellbeing and leadership. At Howard University Danielle is involved in various student organizations such as the NAACP, the pre physical therapy club, the 1867 Run club, and Precious Pearls Youth Outreach Organization. In addition to carrying a rigorous academic course load, Danielle completed a spring 2025 fellowship with BLKHLTH Cares in Washington, D.C, and is a recipient of a Howard University Founders Scholarship and a recipient of the TMCF United Health Foundation Scholarship. Previously while at The Dalton School, Danielle was very active in her high school community as co-captain of the track team, co-head of the Black student Union, co-editor in chief of the yearbook, a member of Best Buddies International, and the administrative coordinator for student government association. Danielle is A Better Chance alumni scholar, the recipient of the Whitney M. Young Jr. scholarship through the New York Urban League and was crowned Miss Jabberwock 2023 by the Brooklyn Alumnae chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority for fundraising over $58k in 4 months. Danielle is from Brooklyn, NY, enjoys traveling and crocheting for her commission-based small business.
