A Bid Manager in Connected Places Catapult is a multi-faceted role. I spend my day managing cross-speciality teams to create new innovative projects and winning bids for clients such as the Department for Transport, Network Rail and National Highways and grant funders such as Innovate UK. The role includes a mixture of bid and project planning, estimating, writing, and reviewing across a wide variety of sectors and specialisms in the transport, place, and digital spheres. My true passion at the Catapult is our Maritime bids, and I\'m keen to develop my knowledge in this space.
