Managing numerous projects in both medical and admin office settings with the hospital and neighboring buildings on the UC Davis Health Campus• Communicating and coordinating directly with PO & M (Plant Operations & Maintenance), architect, contractor or CM (Construction Manager), end users or hospital staff, and all relevant subs (electrician, IT personnel, mechanical PM, medical equipment PM, furniture PM) to develop clear project expectations and execution• Extreme level of coordination to ensure appropriate accommodations and project execution are in place for both patients and office staff during construction of medical units/suites • Creating RFQ’s for contractor approval/selection • Submitting FSR’s (Facility Service Requests) for project funding, establishing budgets and construction need• Ensuring project funds are allotted and project financial projection is accurate and stays on track throughout project process• Creating project schedules and project status reports and distributing to applicable parties• Working with CO to confirm compliance is met and permitting is complete with OSHPD/HCAI or UCDH Building Department for all construction projects• Confirming all permitting is completed and approved in a timely manner• Staying a line and compliant with ICRA (Infection Control Risk Assessment) regulations for construction and non-construction projects performed in hospital setting• Communicate project deadlines, timelines, and status to all appliable parties to ensure clear expectations • Define roles and responsibilities of all contractors onsite to ensure project stays on track and compliance is maintained throughout duration of project• Submitting project augmentations, initial budgets, change orders, work orders, liens, stop light reports, and investigations • Supporting and assisting in surveys of hospital current interior conditions for documentation purposes • Completing project close out reports and documentation
