About Daniel Lawrence

I’m a recreation educator with over 23 years of experience in collegiate and municipal recreation sports programming, facility management, student and staff development, leadership/team-building facilitation, and academic instruction. My career path has led me to Western Kentucky University, Belmont University, the University of Northern Colorado, Utah State University, and currently at the City of Greeley serving as the Recreation Director for the Culture, Recreation, and Parks DepartmentI am an active member of the NIRSA and NRPA Associations and hold numerous certifications. I volunteer at numerous regional tournaments, conferences, and committees within various associations.I’m truly passionate about my work and always eager to connect with others in the recreation field. While I enjoy all aspects of my job, the favorite part of my job is working with young professionals and helping develop them into lifelong leaders. I enjoy working as a member of a team as we go through the collaborative process of providing exceptional programs and services to those we serve.
