About Daniel Johnson
I am currently earning a master’s degree in Energy and Sustainability Management at Southern Methodist University, with a strong interest in the financial decision-making that influences energy businesses. My academic focus includes valuation, capital allocation, and risk management, complemented by coursework in operations and accounting. I am open to roles across traditional energy sectors, including oil and gas, as well as sustainability and energy-transition initiatives. I was also vice president of the Hilltop Investment Group and the Student Government Association.As a finance major, I have built a strong foundation in financial management, accounting, marketing, and investment analysis. Participating in the Harrison Honors Program and the Bonner Leadership Program has provided invaluable opportunities to develop my critical thinking and leadership skills.As Vice President of the Hilltop Investment Group, I have gained hands-on experience managing investment portfolios and developing strategies. Similarly, my position as vice president of the SGA has allowed me to work collaboratively with my peers to address student needs and concerns.
