ABOUT DANIEL JADEN FERNANDES

I am a Computer Engineering Technologist with hands-on experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and ensuring the security and reliability of systems for end-users. I recently completed my Advanced Diploma at Seneca Polytechnic with High Honours, where I strengthened my foundation in networking, system administration, hardware integration, and practical engineering.During my co-op with the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement (MPBSDP), I delivered Tier‑2 support for 1,300+ senior executives across multiple ministries, including the Premier’s Office. My work ranged from resolving hardware/software issues across Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms to managing device setups, renewals, SIM activations, and reimaging. I also contributed to the province-wide Windows 11 rollout by drafting SOPs, testing software compatibility, conducting performance benchmarking, and co-hosting AMA sessions for over clients.I’ve also supported infrastructure and security operations through hands-on networking work, configuring desktops, monitoring network health with tools like Wireshark and Zenmap, mapping physical networks, installing CCTV/NVR systems, and improving documentation for future upgrades.Across all roles, I bring a strong ownership mindset, clear communication, and a commitment to delivering dependable, user-focused support. I enjoy working where technical troubleshooting, system organization, and real-world problem-solving intersect.I’m currently open to opportunities in IT support, system administration, technical coordination, or hybrid roles where I can contribute to secure device management, smooth onboarding experiences, and high-quality end-user support in fast-paced environments.
