Business Development Officer - Cpfc @National Research Council Canada / Conseil national de recherches Canada
Ottawa, ON, CA
The CPFC is a pure-play compound semiconductor wafer foundry. We work with clients to move a custom-design, best-in-class photonic device from early R&D/prototyping stages into high volume manufacturing.Supported applications include datacom, LiDAR, HAMR, OCT, quantum communications, optical interconnect and HPC. Capabilities include InP, GaAs custom epitaxy and wafer processing, GaN epiwafer processing. MOCVD/MBE/CBE growth & regrowth, FEOL/BEOL wafer processing, buried heterostructure lasers, quantum dot/dash devices, high-speed modulators, semiconductor optical amplifiers (SOAs), DFB lasers, FP lasers, laser/SOA arrays, and high quantum efficiency PDs.

ABOUT DANIEL HUTAMA
The CPFC is a pure-play compound semiconductor wafer foundry. Our sq ft (4500 sq m) facility is a centralized, end-to-end, fully commercial operation with wholly-owned capital equipment. For over 20 years, we have worked with clients to move custom, best-in-class, and highly differentiated photonic devices from early R&D/prototyping stages into high yield, high volume manufacturing. Our 90+ staff represent over years of combined foundry experience. Capabilities include InP, GaAs custom epitaxy and wafer processing, GaN epiwafer processing. MOCVD/MBE/CBE growth & regrowth, FEOL/BEOL wafer processing, buried heterostructure lasers, quantum dot/dash devices, high-speed modulators, semiconductor optical amplifiers (SOAs), DFB lasers, FP lasers, laser/SOA arrays, and high quantum efficiency PDs. Supported applications include datacom, telecom, LiDAR, HAMR, OCT, optical interconnect and HPC-I am a business development professional in the semiconductor/integrated photonics field with BD experience in the EPDA space as well as the foundry space. My educational background covers both commerce and physics/engineering. My technical expertise covers coherent communications and sensing, specifically homodyne and self-homodyne systems and their applications.Any views or opinions expressed are my personal views and do not represent those of the National Research Council or Government of Canada.
