About Daniel Hauber

I am one of TRA\'s four Principals and I bring nearly three decades of experience to transportation and public transit projects. At TRA we complete projects in business process and management consulting, especially in the transportation, public transit, and public infrastructure sectors. I also have team building, internal management, human capital, and process improvement responsibilities within TRA. I work with a great team of analysts, subject matter experts, senior principals, and project managers. I specialize in transportation safety, security, operations, and maintenance consulting projects. I have served as technical expert in areas including system safety, accident investigations, hazard analyses, and risk assessments; operating rules, procedures, testing, training, and practices; and maintenance of vehicles, signals, track, and traction power.TRA works closely with state, provincial, and federal government oversight agencies, as well as bus and rail transportation providers and concerned government agencies, in safety and security oversight programs, as well as operations and maintenance projects. My work with these agencies includes both designing and implementing oversight programs for government agencies, and working with transportation providers to construct regulation-compliant programs. I plan and implement independent, comprehensive maintenance and operations assessments, including both rules and procedures reviews and complete field verification and testing. I try to bring practical maintenance and operations experience to the topic of emergency preparedness and security assessments.
