About Daniel Haack
Daniel Haack is an Emmy Award-winning children\'s media professional dedicated to creating content and experiences that engage and enrich kids and help make their lives better (and more fun!). He is currently vice president at Magic Star, the kids and family entertainment division of Sony Music Entertainment\'s The Orchard. He previously was creative lead for YouTube Originals\' kids & family slate, developing and overseeing shows including The Guava Juice Show, Super Sema, Corpse Talk, Coyote Peterson\'s Wild Field Trip and many others. He holds a B.S. from Ithaca College and received an Ed.M. in educational media and technology at the Harvard University Graduate School of Education. Daniel is also the author of the Prince & Knight and its sequel, Prince & Knight: Tale of the Shadow King, and the co-author of Maiden & Princess, all from Little Bee Books. The former was a Goodreads Choice Awards nominee and was named one of the best picture books of 2018 by Amazon, Kirkus Reviews and the Chicago Tribune. As a writer, he is represented by Brent Taylor of TriadaUS Literary Agency.
