About Daniel Gran
As a senior in the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, I am pursuing a degree in Accounting with a co-major in Sustainable Business. The curriculum has offered me the hands-on experience to research and evaluate real-world challenges that businesses face. I enjoy the opportunity to be actively engaged with other students and to work cooperatively to identify problems and establish creative solutions. My communication skills have strengthened through making numerous presentations to convey relevant material and new concepts to large audiences of students as well as faculty. I am interested in studying abroad to increase my global awareness and to gain exposure to different forms of government, education, and business models. Some qualities that differentiate me from others are that I am an innovative thinker, optimistic, and well organized with a sharp focus on details. I recognize that a creative mind is essential to analyzing and improving overall function and efficiency and is the key to the continued growth and success of a business. My optimism makes me adaptable to evolving situations and open to other people’s ideas and opinions. I value hard work, honesty, and fairness and will always advocate for those that need a voice.
