It covers the range of issues from updating technical interconnection requirements to assessing hosting capacity; handling and screening interconnection requests; grounding, protection and metering; modeling and analyzing grid impacts; choosing grid-support functions and settings; applying DER monitoring and control systems (DERMS); and design of utility and community microgrids. The economic opportunities and challenges of providing reliable service with increasing DER levels via NWA\'s and flexible interconnection are also addressed.
