About Dan Obrien

Starting in solar while the industry was still nascent, Dan has had various roles from solar project origination and development, project management, operations, and equipment sales. He has worked for companies varied in size from startup to regionally focused to international industrial conglomerate. He also has participated in industry safety boards, like FM Global 4478 and UL 2703, helping to drive national standards for rooftop solar projects. Since his time at DSD, Dan has worked on 400 MW+ of both on-site and off-site projects and directly contracted +100 MWs of distributed solar projects. Currently, Dan leads and manages DSD\'s national Energy Solutions - Direct Vertical which includes origination, project development, and project construction functions focused on delivering customers on-site renewable energy solutions.
