ABOUT DANIELE BENASSI

Daniele is a Strategy Senior Director in Capgemini Invent. He joined Capgemini Invent in Feb 2021 with the aim to establish the Banking team and launch the business. In 2021, he has been focused on 3 key topics: 1. Set up of the core team: recruited 8 executives and 17 consultants 2. Definition of the go-to-market plan, jointly with the global team 3. Launch and run the first strategic projects with the collaboration of the Capgemini market unit and the global team, with the goal to position Capgemini Invent in selected strategic topics. In 2022, the first projects on priority clients started and let the opportunity to structure 3 different teams of 10-15 people each within the Banking team and under Daniele’s super visioning. In addition, the team succeeded in positioning Invent as reference player for some very hot topics, such as the IT Strategy, the Accessibility and the consumer credit selling process. In 2023, annual performance exceeded expectations and they represent a solid base to scale the business in 2024. Previously, he worked at Accenture for 15 years in strategy and digital initiatives. His professional career started in Accenture Strategy in 2005 where he achieved the Manager role in 2011. In the last years he joined Accenture Song (former Interactive) where he could enrich his skills in the digital and innovation field. He has delivered high-value projects for leading banks and insurers with direct exposure to the top management (General Manager, CMO, COO, CIO, CDO, CCO). In addition, he also had selected experiences in the utility and pharma industry where he was involved as strategist related to specific business topics. He has the experience to lead complex transformation programs with a proven approach that combines a business-oriented view - thanks to his strategic mindset - and a pragmatic attitude to mitigate risks and advance issues during the execution phase.
