ABOUT DANIELE DE ANGELIS

Intellectual property expertise focuses on: e.g. copyright, software, data base, apps, videogames, format, audiovisual works, movies, TV programs, songs, new media and technologies, design, advertising, image rights, trade marks, trade secret, plant variety and unfair competition. His practice extends to litigation, legal advice and drafting of agreements for many of Italian and international clients (e.g. phonograms and audiovisual producers, artists, publishers, broadcasters, ISPs, start-up company). Prior to joining Bird & Bird, Daniele worked for several years at prof. Luigi Carlo Ubertazzi Law Firm in Milan: IP law firm boutique.Daniele has been teaching lessons in masters and post-graduate courses and for the Università Ca’ Foscari in Venice, he is lecturer for the Università di Pavia and lectures in seminars and conferences in the field of intellectual property.Daniele also specialises in tourism law. He has lectured for the Università di Pavia in this field for several years.Daniele holds a Ph.D. in intellectual property with a final thesis on the copyright protection of audiovisual works and is author of several publications on intellectual property topics (copyright protection, audiovisual works, musical works, trade secret, right of publicity and advertising). Daniele is admitted to the Milan Bar and member of AIPPI.
