Product Development Engineer with 15 years of experience in the electronics industry, driving products from concept to production across retail, enterprise, and consumer categories. Pioneered groundbreaking first-generation products with thoughtful industrial design.I was recently Technical Lead for undisclosed Augmented Reality hardware projects at Google. I was responsible for the development of new display and optics technologies, integration into wearable systems, and product realization.Previously I was the Lead Mechanical and Camera Engineer at Canary, a pioneer in the smart home security space. Canary\'s beautifully designed cameras and accessories empower users with actionable information about their homes and loved one\'s well-being. I started my career at Motorola where I worked on rugged hand-held data capture devices, point-of-sale barcode scanners, and camera modules. There I learned the engineering rigor needed to ship into retail and enterprise markets. Our products endured 18-hours work shifts, 30-foot drops, 1-meter water submersion, and extreme temperatures, all of which demand best-in-class build quality and ergonomics.
