About Daniel Cartwright

Currently employed at CDW in downtown Chicago as a Senior Finance Manager in Investor Relations - working closely with our VP of IR and CEO/CFO to prepare for earnings calls, continually update on peer and partner performance, and interact with current and potential investors - telling the CDW Story. Prior roles at CDW on the FP & A team entailed 1) leading the Consolidations function - building out the three financial statements and long-term modeling, and 2) supporting the Integrated Technology Solutions business - managing the relationships with Software, Cloud, Networking, Security, and Data Center sales teams. Across all roles (including current IR role) at CDW, I have been a manager of individual contributors, with a focus on their growth, development, and future leadership capabilities. Completed an MBA through Quantic School of Business and Technology, a rigorous online only degree. Quantic (at the time) was a free program - encouraging thousands to apply but only accepting ~6% of applicants. Quantic has moved to a monthly payment model, but is still significantly cheaper than top business schools, while maintaining the high admission standards. Courses cover similar topics to a traditional MBA (Accounting, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Strategy, Ops Management, Organizational Behavior, and Business Law), while being a solely digital platform - on any device. Formerly employed at Google as a Financial Analyst on the Global Productivity Solutions FP & A team. Prior to that, was employed at GE Appliances as the New Product Integration (NPI) Lead Financial Analyst for the Cooking Products team.Graduated the GE Financial Management Program (FMP) within Appliances & Lighting. FMP is a two-year leadership development program spanning four six-month positions. The program combines rotational assignments with interactive seminars and rigorous coursework in accounting, operations, controllership, business strategy, and LEAN/Six Sigma. The program is led by senior GE professionals and is committed to developing world-class business leaders. Graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor\'s degree in Energy, Business and Finance, with minors in History and Economics.
