Cyber security professional with nineteen years of professional experience in various cyber security functions, to include cyber security operations, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), application security testing, Certification and Accreditation (C&A) efforts, penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security-focused network architecture design. Currently supporting security operations for Capella Space as the Security Operation Center (SOC) Manager, coordinating security efforts throughout the enterprise. Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager for Capella Space, responsible for:* Leading day-to-day security operations for Capella Space, ensuring that monitoring and remediation efforts are effectively tracked and resolved in a timely fashion. Also serves as the Incident Response Lead for Capella Space, providing leadership during active incident investigations and informing executive leadership and the board of directors on progress of incidents.* Led buildout and accreditation of a Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 IT environment to secure Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), developing policies and procedures to meet strict security control requirements.
