About Daniel Jaffe

I’m in my final year at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, pursuing a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Geotechnical Engineering and Energy. I’m passionate about renewable energy—particularly offshore wind—and how geotechnical systems support sustainable infrastructure. Previously, I interned at WSP, where I worked on solar farm permitting, site layout, and stormwater system design. I also gained experience as a Geotechnical Intern at Geosyntec, contributing to solar energy projects and landfill geotechnics. I’m excited to apply my skills and experience to innovative energy and infrastructure solutions that support a more sustainable future.
