ABOUT DANIEL BISHOP

With over 15 years of experience in learning and development, I am a passionate and people-focused leader who has successfully transitioned from operational and customer-facing roles into HR and L&D. I have a unique ability to understand the needs and expectations of customers and employees, and to design and deliver engaging and effective learning strategies and solutions that support business goals and improvement.As the Head of L&D at Lookers Motor Group, I am responsible for leading the organisational learning and development function, overseeing the budget, the curriculum, learning tech, and the team capability. I have a proven track record of implementing digital learning solutions, technology and learning programmes that enhance the learning experience and also reduce costs. I have also led and contributed to several large scale transformation projects, that align the learning agenda with business, people and culture strategies. I am driven by the mission of empowering and enabling people to grow and perform to be at their best, and I am always looking for new and innovative ways to create and deliver learning that makes a difference.
