As Principal Data Architect, I am helping the company get from its current state data architecture to its future state, including:* Designed an LLM-as-judge system, and evaluated / fine-tuned LLM prompts using Claude, to enhance model accuracy for an AI-based customer support chatbot.* Evaluation and selection of software components of a logical data warehouse (LDW), a cloud data warehouse (CDW), and a real-time data platform* Migration from on-premise / relational data storage into cloud data lake / object storage* Lots of hands-on data warehouse/lakehouse design, ETL/ELT, BI data flow development, and plain old writing of SQL!* Direct experience with enterprise-grade data tools such as Snowflake, dbt, Sigma Computing, Airbyte, Integrate.io, Immuta, Starburst, Trino, Presto, Fivetran, Databricks, Kinesis, CDC, Tableau and Tableau Prep, StreamSets, UpSolver, and Superset.* Identifying business subject areas and providing a taxonomy of data domains across the enterprise for exposure within the data warehouse* Documenting data models across the company in a centralized location and making these highly available to interested parties* Working with Engineering and DevOps leaders to enhance cloud data infrastructure to address InfoSec and data reliability* Working with stakeholders as to the priority uses of data to achieve business objectives* Prioritization and implementation of product features and capabilities across the data platform* Advising on data-centric product initiatives such as notifications & events ecosystem for user activity, data catalog, and event ledger* Approaches and tools used for instrumentation and measurement
