The National Education Opportunity Network is a nonprofit that delivers and supports college-credit bearing courses to students in under-resourced high schools - at scale, and at no cost to students. Through their partnership with Cornell University, they are offering one of Cornell\'s classes, MATH 1300: Mathematical Explorations, to high school students across the nation.As a teaching fellow for this course, I-Conduct weekly office hours and 45-minute synchronous discussion sections for 13 students from a Title 1 high school via Zoom to teach them critical thinking skills in the context of solving real-world mathematical problems-Assist in grading and providing detailed and rigorous feedback on 50+ weekly assignment submissions via Canvas LMS with a one-week turnaround date-Participate in weekly 30-minute course team check-ins throughout the semester to provide and receive feedback on enhancing curriculum clarity and student engagement with course materials while simultaneously crafting professional relationships with others to build community with Scholars, Co-Teachers, and the National Teaching Fellow Corp.
